Composition
"Flower Power" is an up-tempo dance pop number, taking influences from electropop and electronica, with a "flowing" bass line, with a sexy chorus line demonstrating the "sexy side" of Girls' Generation, contrary to the single's title. Lyrically, the song describes "the strategic moves between a man and a woman on the dance floor," sung by the group with "the sound and light of a glitzy atmosphere."Music Video
'FLOWER POWER' MV:
On October 31, 2012, SM. Entertainment released the "Flower Power" PV in two versions, the normal and dance version. The music video is similar to their 2011 Japanese PV "Mr. Taxi" in respect to the production and shooting style of the video, along with the bondage-like costumes worn which resemble the outfits used in "Mr. Taxi". Within the song’s perspective of the world, the nine girls sing and dance in a near future cosplay image of “bondage”-like cabin attendants under a fictional airline company, Air GG.
